Zane Weiner (b. 4/26/08)

Continuing in the Spaightwood tradition of popping up photos of our grandchildren in the early moments of their life on earth otside the womb, we herewith present some photographs of our third grandson (age 1 to 2 hours) with his father Adam and his mother Jenette. When we arrived, everyone was resting after the labor of getting Zane born. After a bit, the nurse came in, gave Zane his first bath, which did not thrill him, put him under a lamp to warm him, and then taught his father how to diaper him. Jenette, who was fairly exhausted, took in this action with equanimity. For photos of Zane's cousin Jaiden during her first days, click here.

4/28/08: The slightly-rested parents introduce their cleaned-up son to the world: Zane's maternal grandmother Lorraine and his maternal great grandmother Irene meet their new grandson and great-grandson.
